Penguin's Hits Parlay
Marcus Semien has now recorded a hit in his last 9 of 10 games including 2+ hits in his last 5 of 10. He has a hit in both gms vs Luke Weaver with a solid .600 slug %. He has a hit in 6 of 7 vs the Reds, a hit in his last 9 away including 5 games with 2+ hits in his last 8 games. It's safe to say Marcus Semien has lived up to the leadoff spot standard sporting a .292 batting average with an uptick to .317 vs right hand pitchers and I'm expecting him to get at least 1 today.
For our second leg, we're rocking with the NL batting champ, Jeff McNeil. He has started the season where he left off last year batting a nice .296 so far with a nice .333 vs right hand pitchers. He has a hit in his last 8 of 9 games vs WAS, including 2+ in his last 4 of 6, a hit in his last 7 of 8 games overall including 2+ hits in his last 3 of 4, and a hit in his last 4 of 5 games at home. He has a great .667 batting average and 1.333 SLG vs Josiah Gray including 3 hits in the last matchup. Great numbers here for Jeff.
We just need 1 hit each and I'm looking to get a double digit hit parlay win on the season with these two.
