What an adventure yesterday’s point parlay was. Jack Hughes was credited with an assist on the first goal of the night, then the assist was taken away, then he was credited with a goal.
At least we got to celebrate the win 2 times! Hopefully tonight’s point parlay will go a bit smoother.
William Nylander will get our night started. He is on Toronto’s second line, but as I try to find with all players involved in these parlays, he is a part of Toronto’s top power play unit. He will go against Buffalo tonight who is 29th in the league in goals allowed.
40 year old Craig Anderson is expected in net for the Sabres after a rough month of February where he allowed 3.8 goals per game in 6 appearances. As for Nylander, he has been very consistent at home this season. He has recorded a point in 18/25 home games and should be set up nicely to continue adding to that total.
Poor Kraken. The league’s expansion team has been a beautiful team to target all season. They are 26th in goals allowed, and have been especially bad at home lately. Over their last 5 home games they have allowed: 3, 5, 6, 5, 4 goals. That leaves the Predators with many great options to be the second leg to this parlay. I decided on Filip Forsberg.
The top line winger has a point in 70% of his games this season and that number jumps to 79% on the road (15/19). He has also recorded a point in 8 straight on the road. In 2 games vs Seattle so far this season, Filip has had 2 points in each game. Let's see if he can keep rolling!
