Penguin has found a perfect pitcher spot to double down on for this Thursday MLB slate.

Doubling down on the Marcus Stroman to get after it vs a Brewers team who have been doing a lot of damage later into games. Day game Stroman strikes people out. He’s averaging 1 strikeout per inning pitched during day games and had 8 strikeouts in his only game vs MIL this season where he went for 6 innings on only 90 pitches. In 8 of his away games this year he’s covered 6+ innings in 7 of them and between this year/last year he’s gone for 6.0, 7.2 and 7.0 innings vs MIL striking out 8, 5 and 5 in each of those games. MIL seem to wake up later in the game recently and they struggle vs ground ball pitchers with lower SLG & OPS numbers.

Give me Stroman to lock it in early in our day game getting 5+ SO to the team that strikes out the 4th most in the MLB.
