In Monday Night Football’s early kick off the Baltimore Ravens travel to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both teams started the week tied on top of their respective decisions at 4-2. Both quarterbacks have been in early MVP conversations having played excellently to start the season, helping both their teams be top four in points scored per game. Lamar Jackson has led the Ravens’ offense with his arm and legs to the top of the total yards per game chart (453.7 YPG). Baker Mayfield is currently second in Passer Rating (109.4) on the back of his league leading 15 passing touchdowns. Whilst both of their offenses have been ticking, the Ravens and Buccaneers passing defenses have been among the worst in the league. Both are allowing an average of 250 passing yards per game. We expect both of these offenses to succeed in a high scoring affair, we’re taking the over for total match points.

In Monday Night Football’s late kick off the Los Angeles Chargers face the Arizona Cardinals in their second road trip in as many weeks. Jim Harbough has had a strong start to his second NFL career, he has developed the Chargers in his identity. Los Angeles has an elite defense that allows only 13.2 points per game, the lowest in the NFL. Their defense, combined with a strong run game and highly efficient quarterback play has the Chargers tied third in the turnover differential charts, +7. Cardinals’ quarterback Kyler Murray has played reasonably well to start the season, but has only thrown for over 220 yards or multiple touchdown passes in one game this season. Against the Chargers defense Murray will have his work cut out for him and on the other side the Chargers’ offense should be able to handle the Cardinals bottom ten defense. We’re expecting Jim Harbough to out coach the Cardinals in a Los Angeles win, where they cover the spread.
