Soccer picks and Predictions

Welcome to this soccer predictions and soccer picks page here at FlashPicks where we help you find the best soccer tips for your bets and guide you through how to find and use our soccer predictions.

Ultimately, what we do at FlashPicks is help to condense and find the best picks for you to bet on, pointing you towards picks which we believe are the most likely to come off, as mentioned above, this is all for free.

We offer picks from individual matches, by previewing games via showing teams and individual players’ form guides, as well as also offering daily picks when a large number of fixtures are being played. We also offer free picks for other events such as transfers, managers and specials relating to clubs and individuals in the sport of soccer.

Here, you can also find free advice on sportsbooks and bookies to signup, as well as finding signup offers for their pages.

Free Soccer picks explained

The term ‘picks’, also known as ‘tips’ literally means a suggestion based on what we think is likely to happen in the match or event based on our statistical analysis, history and much more.

For example, we could pick Mohamed Salah to score 15+ Premier League goals in 2021/22. This would be a more obvious pick, but it paints the picture of what we do, as the lowest number of goals that the Egyptian has scored in a league season since joining Liverpool is 19.

We look to find the most likely picks to come off based on research of the club’s/player’s statistics and recent form guides and try and find the best odds to ultimately maximise any potential winnings which the pick could have.

Our soccer picks are free, as we simply give advice as to what we’d consider betting on, whilst providing a direct link to the sportsbook by clicking on the pick, shall you want to add it to your bet slip to place a wager.

How do you pick your free soccer selections?

As explained above, our team regularly chooses free soccer picks based on our knowledge of the sport as well as analysing data such as the number of times a player has taken shots on target per game, conversion rates and even how many times a team has been involved in matches with a certain number of goals in them e.g, over 2.5 goals.

We also tend to take a look at form guides as ultimately these can be the bigger picture of what is about to happen in a match, as well as the venue of a game and the availability of players.

Where can I place Soccer game picks today?

You can place soccer game picks today by simply going to your sportsbook and making a selection to bet on, ideally if you haven’t selected a bookmaker to start betting with yet, then head to our page, FlashPicks, in order to find the Sportsbook of your choice that is available in your state and country, as we have plenty of sign-up offers to take advantage of so that you can get instant perks from one of our recommended partners.

How to pick against the spread

To bet against the spread means to go for an ‘underdog’ or some may even refer to it as a wildcard, as it is an outsider that is not expected to win, hence for the higher odds on the pick/selection.

Often, the best way to find value in these is by looking through form guides and injury lists, as recently, Sporting Lisbon were the underdogs against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, despite the latter being without key players such as Erling Haaland, the Liga Nos outfit won the match in Portugal 3-1, a correct score or both teams to score pick/tip that will have had high odds compared to their opposition.

Other ways to find good value when going against the spread can be by looking at teams that have a good record against a club on paper that are better than themselves, such as in the 2018/19 season when newly-promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Manchester United in the Premier League and FA Cup.

What type of Soccer bets might you bet on?

There are several types of soccer bets that you can choose to do, here we will take a look at the majority of them.

Soccer Futures, otherwise known as outrights are typically bets that are decided in the future, as said in the title, such as outright odds to be the next permanent manager of a club or outright top scorer in the MLS in any given season.

Half time/full-time result is simply choosing which team will win or be winning at each interval, whilst a double chance bet is choosing two outcomes for a team at the end of the game e.g, to lose or draw, however, this usually offers reduced odds.

When selecting draw no bet, this is similar to double chance, however, this is where you choose for a team to win, but, if they draw, the selection is nulled off your bet slip, this type of bet tends to have reduced odds too.

Asian Handicap bets are typically used when two mismatched teams play one another, as you can get better odds on a team to win by making them start on minus goals on your bet slip, or by giving the underdog a head start on goals. These types of bets are commonly used in international football qualifiers.

Live betting or in-play simply means what it says in the title, betting on an event that is already happening by using the adjusted live odds and making a selection to bet on.

Over/Under Bets are merely betting on what you think will happen in a game, this could be stuff like cards, corners or goals, these are usually done by half points, for example, over 2.5 goals, in order to avoid confusion.

Last but not least, Moneyline bets. This is the most simple form of betting, as all you do for this is pick a team to win a match (can also bet on a draw). By doing this type of bet, you can form a single bet, or doubles, trebles and parlays depending on how many teams you select.

Are your Soccer picks chosen by experts?

One thing that must be stated, is that our team don’t claim to be experts when it comes to picking soccer bets, but, we are well experienced in what we do, as well as having knowledge on soccer in general having studied and written about the sport itself. What we do, is choose picks based on our research and analysis.

Something that we do have though, are featured experts for special games.

What Soccer games can I bet on

Simply, you can bet on as many games as there are in a week or even a year, whilst scrolling and looking through every league that is available.

It is not vital to do so, but betting on different leagues can be helpful when forming bets such as parlays, as it is very difficult to predict the outcome of every match in a single division.

Something that you also consider is the fact that the same rounds of competitions take place on different days, such as the MLS Cup Playoffs due to having the Eastern and Western Conference sides of the draw, when forming bets you can combine odds from fixtures that take place on different days.

Picks for other sports

Finally, what must be noted is that soccer is not the only sport that we offer picks for, as like our English site, Oddschanger, we do multisport picks. Here at Flashpicks, we will look at sports such as NFL, NBA, Boxing, UFC, F1 and many more. All you will simply have to do is select a different page or category to find them so that you can see what our experienced team have selected as picks.
