The Angels have been striking out ALL SEASON to right handed pitchers and they should have 7 great targets for Pepiot to K. In their last 7+ times in their last 10 of 12 games vs. RHP and Pepiot has really developed as a player. If you look at his matchups in 2022 and 2023, he faced really tough strikeout matchups both seasons. It shows when he faces easier ones and is a reason why he got up to 11 vs. the Rockies this year. Last game, he finished at 6 because he was rocked and pulled early. If he doesn't give up those late runs I'm thinking he gets to 7. The Rays bullpen is very fatigued and he won't have a short leash. The Angels are scoring just under 5 runs per game recently and can get to Pepiot, but he should be able to strike himself out of tough situations. Give me 7+ a number that many starters have reached this season vs. the Angels.
