Tennessee was completely dominant in the first round and should be getting attention as a serious contender among all this chaos. Michigan struggled in the first half but managed a great defensive game plan in the second and came back strong. Luckily for Michigan, they were down to CSU not Tennessee. Because no one in the last month has been able to slow the Vols offense down. I predict the Vols go up early and this game gets out of hand fast. Michigan had their moment, Tennessee has a lot left to prove.

Did Saint Peter’s pull off an impossible game or are they a true Cinderella? If they have a chance to advance, it might just be against Murray State. Murray State is coming off a late overtime thriller that went into the night. Saint Peter’s had their own overtime game but one that ended a lot earlier, for what it’s worth. Odd as it sounds, I don’t think the Kentucky win was a total fluke. This team shoots supremely well from 3 and plays an aggressive defensive game that frustrates.

To add to it, as is the right of an underdog, Saint Peter’s will definitely have the crowd on their side if they can build any momentum. Whether they pull off another huge win, I don’t think the story is quite over yet. This one should be competitive and I’m loving a 9 point spread.
