Ohio State is hitting their stride at the best possible time. They’ve got Young and Key back on the court and look like the elite team they were supposed to be all year. Villanova makes very few mistakes so it is going to take an impressive effort from the Buckeyes to pull off the upset. But they have the talent to keep this one close down to the buzzer. Don’t be surprised if they’re the ones who move on today.

Both Texas and Purdue looked solid in the first round, both against teams that felt well outmatched. I think the key here is that what Texas does best, they won’t be able to do against Purdue. We’ve seen them struggle against tough defensive teams and the post presence of Purdue will be too much to handle. Texas will want to dictate the pace of the game and if they’re able to, that will be good indication of what’s to come. In the end Purdue should win by a decent margin, I’m not worried about the 3 point spread.
