It’s never too late to admit you were wrong and I was wrong about Rutgers. They finally had their streak snapped at Purdue on Sunday but in the past few weeks they’ve moved up 5 th in the Big Ten and made a good case for the tournament. Michigan is in a tailspin, with Juwan Howard suspended through the season and facing Illinois, Michigan State, Iowa and Ohio State following tonight.
Here’s why I love Rutgers to cover: 1. Michigan has serious potential to overlook this game with a tough schedule ahead. 2. The Juwan Howard situation leaves them not only without a head coach, but with a huge distraction from the actual game. 3. Rutgers proved themselves on the road against the very Wisconsin team that derailed Michigan. 4. Rutgers has only lost one game in the last 3 weeks and it was to the #5 team in the country. 5. Michigan does not have a Zach Edey or a Jaden Ivey. Ride the Knights.
