The Yankees may have the hottest lineup in the MLB. Coming off a dominant series win in Chicago, they’ll have a great change to pick up another series win in Baltimore. Bradish has done well so far in his career debut but he’s still young and his pitch placement could use work. Against the power in this Yankees lineup, the heat he throws translates to home runs, especially in the hitter friendly Camden Yards. The full over at 7.5 is tempting but the Orioles bats can get so cold, a shutout is always in play. The most likely win is on the Yankees to keep scoring like they have this year.

One of the narratives I’ve been hearing is that the Red Sox are one of the teams that is “underperforming” the most this season. Personally, I don’t believe in “underperforming.” Your record and performance speaks for itself and if you’ve been losing a lot you might not be a very good team. These are MLB teams and every one of them has unbelievable talent on the roster (except maybe the Reds). Every team could be winning more if they played their best so I don’t buy the narrative that the Red Sox are too talented to be losing this much. However, the bright side is faulty narratives provide betting value and despite the better roster and bullpen, the Astros are underdogs tonight. Whitlock is solid but not much of an upgrade of Odorizzi so far. The value is on the away team here.
