The Mavs are hitting a great stride late in the season on both ends of the court. The Cavs on the other hand are struggling to adjust to play without Allen. Now it looks like they will also be without Evan Mobley after leaving the game against the Magic on Monday. My guess is that this line is strongly influenced by rest; the Mavs played last night in Dallas and make the trip up to Cleveland today, where the Cavs have been home since last Thursday and last played Monday night. That’s a factor that weighs heavier mid-season than it does with only 6 or 7 games left in the season. I think the Mavs will be locked in in a race for position in the playoffs, with the same goal as everyone else in the West, avoid the Suns as long as possible.
