The Twolves are fighting an uphill battle to take the final non-play-in-game playoff spot from the Nuggets but the odds are unlikely. The most likely scenario if everything ends as-is is that this game is a preview of the play-in game, with the Spurs visiting Minnesota. The Twolves have been a fairly predictable team, but the Spurs have really elevated their play recently, winning 7 of the last 8 to secure this final playoff spot. They have a great young core, led by Dejounte Murray that has found its identity lately. I think the talent is pretty close to even so I like this game to stay tight, well within the spread.

It seems like with the recent rise of the Bucks, people have forgotten how good this Celtics team is. The loss of Robert Williams makes a finals run less realistic, but they are still the best defensive team in the league and the Bucks don’t have a ton of offensive complexity. When they play top teams, they get extremely reliant on Giannis and he has answered the call. But the rest of the team will have very difficult matchups on both ends. On the wings especially, the Bucks are heavily outgunned. Just picture former Duke teammates Jayson Tatum and Grayson Allen guarding each other and you’ll see what I’m getting at. Again though, Giannis has answered the call more times than not, so the money line makes me nervous, but this spread is more than enough to keep me interested.
