James Madison secured the upset to beat Michigan State who just won their first game in the tournament. The rest of the season they lost just three games including winning their last 13 games.

For Wisconsin, this team was ranked as high as No. 6 in the nation. Now, they dropped all the way out of the top 25 but still were able to get a five seed in the tournament. Wisconsin was pretty bad in conference play as they lost nine games against BIG 10 opponents. They did make it all the way to the BIG 10 finals, which likely helped them get this high of a seed in the end.

James Madison is the real deal. Losing just three games in any conference is extremely impressive. They should not be taken lightly by Wisconsin who has lost 13 games this year, albeit in a much tougher conference. This line is close at just 5.5 points. Wisconsin ran hot in the BIG 10 Tournament but they struggled before that. The tournament is about being hot but James Madison has been running hot all season.

For Wisconsin, beating Purdue makes them a contender as Purdue is a one seed and has been a top team all year. James Madison has an elite offense and should be able to stay with Wisconsin in this game, however.
