Same Game Parlay (SGP): Notre Dame vs. Pitt

  • Jeremiyah Love, 2+ Touchdowns at +150

Pitt has a top-five run defense, but Notre Dame will find a way to get its best weapon involved. Love has touchdowns in eight of nine games, with multiple in six.

  • CJ Carr, OVER 1.5 Touchdown Passes at -145

Against Pitt’s tough run defense, Notre Dame will likely lean on the passing game more to score, especially since Pitt has a shaky secondary. Carr has thrown multiple touchdown passes in seven of nine games.

  • Mason Heintschel, OVER 1.5 Touchdown Passes at +130

Notre Dame’s defense excels against the run, so the Panthers will likely stick to what Heintschel does best and throw the ball. In his five starts, he has thrown for 300+ in four and recorded multiple touchdown passes in each.

  • SGP Odds: +650

A $100 wager will result in a $750 payday, your stake plus $650 in winnings.

Top Player Props

  • Bear Bachmeier (BYU), OVER 45.5 Rushing Yards at -110 (vs. TCU)

Texas Tech’s run defense kept BYU’s mobile QB contained last weekend, but while TCU has a respectable run defense (No. 35), the talented freshman quarterback will figure out how to run on the Horned Frogs.

  • Haynes King (Georgia Tech), 2+ Touchdowns at -110 (vs. Boston College)

King is one of the most electrifying athletes and one of the leading scorers in the country, with 14 rushing touchdowns to his name, including two in four of his last five games. Against an awful BC defense, he’ll make it five of his last six.

Best Bets

  • Texas Tech, UNDER 35.5 Points at -115 (vs. UCF)

The Red Raiders are averaging 42 points per game, but there is concern over the health of Behren Morton, who is nursing a hairline fracture in his fibula. With a spot in the CFP possible, Texas Tech will likely pull him once they feel they have the game well in hand.

  • NC State-Miami, OVER 55.5 at -105

Both teams average 32 points per game. Miami’s defense will slow NC State down to a degree. However, I don’t see the Wolfpack’s secondary (which is giving up close to 300 yards a game) slowing the Hurricanes down. NC State will not match its average, but Miami will make up the difference.

Analyst’s Take

  • I may be putting a little too much reliance on Jeremiah Love, but he’s been a beast all year so why stop backing him now?
  • Haynes King should have a career day against Boston College’s poor defense (as will Bear Bachmeier vs. TCU’s defense).
  • NC State put on a show against Georgia Tech, but this week it will be Miami putting on a show against them.
  • I may be overthinking things with my Texas Tech pick, but it makes sense to pull Morton ASAP with what Texas Tech could have to look forward to (CFP).
