Same Game Parlay (SGP): Notre Dame vs. Boston College

  • Jeremiah Love, First TD for Notre Dame at +175

Love has recorded 12 touchdowns this season, tying him for second in the country in TDs. He has scored at least one (-1000) in six games, multiple in four (-140), and recorded the first for Notre Dame in three. Against a Boston College team that’s giving up 34.4 ppg (124th in the country), I like his chances of scoring the first TD for Notre Dame here.

  • Jadarian Price, Anytime TD at -375

If Love isn’t scoring for Notre Dame, Price is the next best candidate. He has scored in five of seven games, including three of his last four. As a standalone bet, don’t bother, but as another leg in SGP…

  • Will Pauling, Anytime TD at +150

The Notre Dame offense does much of its work on the ground, but Pauling has four touchdowns on the season, with one in each of his last three games. Against Boston College’s 109th-ranked pass defense, I like his chances to get another in this game.

  • SGP Odds: +840

A $100 wager will result in a $940 payday, your stake plus $840 in winnings.

Top Anytime Touchdown Picks & Parlay

  • Haynes King, Anytime Touchdown at -275 or (2+ TDS at +200) (vs. NC State)

King has 12 rushing touchdowns to his name this season, tying him for the second most in the country. He has had at least one in every game and multiple in four. Against an NC State team that is giving up 29.9 ppg this season, there is a good chance he scores at least one, if not more.

  • Cameron Dickey (Texas Tech), First TD for TTU +260 (vs. Kansas State)

Dickey has ten touchdowns to his name with at least one in seven of eight games (anytime odds -200). He recorded the first for the Red Raiders in three of five conference games.

  • Connor Weigman (Georgia Tech), Anytime TD at -170 (vs. West Virginia)

Weigman has eight touchdowns on the ground in eight games, with at least one in six games and 1+ in each of his last three. West Virginia ranks 94th against the run and has given up nearly 30 points per game.

  • Parlay Odds: +679

A $100 wager will result in a $779 payday, your stake plus $679 in winnings.

Analyst’s Take / Expert Note

There is a logical strategy to take when betting on anytime touchdown props: go for high-scoring teams with one or two players that score a significant number of touchdowns for their team that are playing teams with defenses that struggle to keep their opponents out of the end zone.

Notre Dame-Boston College is the perfect example. BC is weak against the run and gives up 35 points a game. Notre Dame is a solid run team with two running backs who score often. Similar arguments can be used for Connor Weigman vs. WVU and Haynes King vs. NC State.
