It's rivalry week and we have a surprisingly fun matchup between 2 teams that are having good years especially compared to recent history. Kansas at Kansas state(The Sunflower Showdown). The line is set at K State -11.5 and an O/U of 62. Kansas will get Jaylon Daniels back for the 2nd straight week, while K State will still be missing Adrian Martienz for the 5th straight week. That hasn't been a problem for K State with a record of 3-1 in that span and plenty of weapons on the offense along with Will Howard coming in at QB and throwing for over 1,100yards 11tds (+2 more rushing) and 2 ints in 4 games vs good/great defenses(TCU, Okstate, Baylor, and West VA). He will be facing his easiest opponent yet in the 102nd ranked defense in Kansas which is just awful whether it's the run or the pass and gives up 32.6ppg.
Kansas offense is the only reason they have won games this year and even more so Jaylon Daniels but that won't be enough today. K state defense is 18th in the country overall and has a good balance between the rush/pass defense. Not going to continue to overload you with stats. I don't know how Kansas will stop this offense for K State when they can't even stop a nosebleed.
Better Offense- Kstate
Better Defense- Kstate
Better Special teams- Kstate
I'm playing Kstate at -11.5 and would lean for the over of 62 (I don't want to double dip in the game).
