Same Game Parlay (SGP): South Carolina vs. Ole Miss

  • Kewan Lacy, 2+ Touchdowns

Lacy has 12 scores with 1+ in seven of eight games and 2+ in four, including his last two (vs. Georgia and Oklahoma). If he can score twice against them, he can do the same against South Carolina.

  • Trinidad Chambliss, 250+ Passing Yards

Chambliss is having a solid season with 250+ yards passing in each of his last five games. South Carolina has a solid defense, but it will be on the field so much that it will eventually wear down, giving Chambliss an open door to go off.

  • Ole Miss -12.5

The Rebels have one of the best offenses in the country, along with a solid defense. South Carolina has an offense with a world of potential, as it showed against Alabama last week. But the Gamecocks are punching above their weight class here.

  • SGP Odds: +475

A $100 wager will result in a $575 payday, your stake plus $475 in winnings.

Top Player Props

  • Diego Pavia (Vanderbilt), UNDER 184.5 Passing Yards at -115 (vs. Texas)

Pavia is having an incredible season, but he does not tend to have big passing numbers against Power 4 schools. Of the five that he’s played, he has not passed for 200 yards, and he went UNDER this TOTAL in three of them, including his last two.

  • John Mateer (Oklahoma), OVER 240.5 Passing Yards at -115 (vs. Tennessee)

Mater has not gone OVER this mark in his last three games, but he’ll have better luck against a Tennessee defense giving up 266.6 yards passing per game.

Best Bets (Straight Picks)

  • Texas-Vanderbilt, UNDER 46.5 at -105

The offense hasn’t been great with Manning, and against this Vanderbilt defense, it won't likely improve regardless of who plays quarterback. Texas has a top-notch defense and will keep Vanderbilt from running away with it.

  • No. 5 Georgia-Florida, UNDER 50.5 at -110

At 50.5, the OVER is 3-4 for Georgia and just 1-5 for Florida (vs. FBS teams). While Florida has had some issues on offense, the defense has allowed 20 points per game; only one team has scored 30 or more against them. The Georgia defense has held opponents to under 20 points a game.

Analyst’s Take / Expert Note

Always do your homework on a game before placing any bets. You may think you know a team and/or its opponent. But it would be wise to be sure and have the data to back up what you’re thinking, like:

  • Diego Pavia’s passing numbers are under 200 against every Power 4 team he has played; against a solid pass defense like Texas, chances are they’ll be even lower.
  • Oklahoma is more of a defensive team, and Joh Mateer hasn’t passed for 240.5+ in weeks, but the Tennessee pass defense is one of the worst in the country (123rd in passing yards allowed).

Upcoming Schedule

  • No. 9 Vanderbilt vs. No. 20 Texas, 12 p.m. EST
  • No. 5 Georgia vs. Florida, 3:30 p.m. EST
  • South Carolina vs. No. 7 Ole Miss, 7 p.m. EST
  • No. 18 Oklahoma vs. No. 14 Tennessee, 7:30 p.m. EST
