Same Game Parlay (SGP): South Carolina vs. Texas A&M

• Marcel Reed, 1st Quarter Anytime TD at +375

This one is a bit risky, but after getting contained by the Missouri defense last week, I can see Reed being a little eager to stretch his legs against a lackluster South Carolina defense. Prior to last week, he had recorded a rushing touchdown in his previous four games.

• Rueben Owens, OVER 64.5 Rushing Yards at -115

In the four games he had 10+ carries, Owens has run for at least 51 yards and OVER this TOTAL in three. Against a lackluster South Carolina defense, he’ll make it four of five.

• OVER 49.5 at -110

A&M has gone OVER this mark in its last four games, chipping in 40+ in two. South Carolina’s defense can’t slow the Aggies down, but the A&M defense will give up a touchdown or two in garbage time.

• SGP Odds: +1050

• Gunner Stockton, OVER 219.5 Passing Yards at -115

He’s gone OVER this mark in his last three games, but in just four of seven SEC contests. Texas leads the country in sacks, but Stockton will get rid of the ball quickly and let his skill position players go to work against a pass defense ranked 93rd in the country.

• Quintrevion Wisner, UNDER 48.5 Rushing Yards at -115

Texas has struggled to run the ball, and it won't get any easier against Georgia’s stellar run defense. Wisner went over this number last week, but did so only twice in his last five games.

• Oklahoma-Alabama, UNDER 46 at -110

Here we have a game featuring two teams with good (but not exceptional) offenses and excellent defenses. Oklahoma allows 14.1 points per game, and Alabama allows 17.2 points per game. They’ll get close to 46 points, but both defenses will ensure the final is under the total.

• Arkansas +5.5/ML at +125 (vs. LSU)

The Razorbacks are winless in conference play and 2-7 on the year, but not because they can’t score points (35.4 points per game). They just can’t stop anyone (123rd in total defense, points allowed). LSU team has yet to score more than 25 in SEC play.

• Marcel Reed and the A&M defense are playing too well to lose to a struggling South Carolina team.
• Arkansas is better than its record indicates, but if you don’t feel comfortable taking them to win outright or ATS, take the OVER because their offense is solid, but their defense is the exact opposite.
• Texas is overrated. The Longhorns are getting a ton of credit for squeaking by lesser teams like Kentucky and Mississippi State. Georgia is going to be a different experience for Texas.
• When two good defenses collide (like Alabama and Oklahoma) you can count on a relatively low scoring game.
