Memphis Grizzlies (38-18) vs. Detroit Pistons (12-42)

Of course when the Pistons are involved, you have to be mindful of blowout potential. I’m gonna take that risk tonight, and grab what I’d consider a discounted line based off the implied big win by the Griz.

Gonna be looking at one of the games best young stars, Ja Morant points + assists line. Perhaps the most fun guy in the league to watch and he’s got a matchup he should have a lot of success in. If there is a blowout, I like my chances that it is because he went crazy scoring and getting teammates involved. A nice little safety net I’ve found is that in games Memphis has won by 10+, Ja has hit his line in 8/14.

As for the recent 10 game stretch, Ja has hit this line in 9 of his last 10 games. He’s averaged 40.6 in this span. Tonight he gets Det who allow the third most assists to PG, and the 9th most points in the paint which is where Ja likes to get most of his work done. Despite the blowout potential, I like Ja to continue the tear he is on.
