After a triple overtime thriller on Saturday in Miami, the Heat will take a trip across the border to face off again vs the Raptors. I woke up excited for this one, so it is only natural I have a play for this game. I am going with a 2 leg parlay tonight. Most of this article will explain why I like each leg, but wanted to talk about why I like these two legs together for a moment.

The Miami Heat defense is designed to limit easy buckets at the rim. They pack the paint (very similar to the Bucks defense), and filter most open shots to the arc. No one does this better which results in the least amount of points in the paint allowed, and the 3rd most 3 pointers allowed. I find some intriguing correlation between my two props for this reason. Pascal will get most of his usage inside the arc, and as the defense collapses on him he will find open shooters behind the arc, ideally Fred VanVleet.
Let’s get to the actual parlay. As I hinted to, the first leg will be Siakim assists. I am playing him for 4+ assists. Pascal has hit this number in 77% of games this year including 17 of his last 18.
For the other leg in the parlay, I will be adding Fred VanVleet for 4+ threes. It is generally a high number, but there are few players that match his production/volume. Over the last 10 home games, he has played an average of 37.4 min a game and is attempting 12.2 3 pointers. He has hit 4+ in 10 of his last 11 games in Toronto. Another positive, Miami has allowed the 6th most 3s to PG over the last 30 days.
