It is gonna be freezing cold as you’d expect for a night game in Lambeau in January. It is predicted to be about 8 degrees at kickoff. This doesn’t concern me much for the Packers, but if I lived in SF I would be dreading playing in those conditions. I would even consider calling outta work that day. Now if this season went the way we all thought, I may not consider this prop as heavily. Thankfully, on November 15 the 49ers invented a new position for Deebo Samuel. A position he referred to as a “Wide Back”. His usage in the backfield began picking up when Elijah Mitchell was battling a rib injury, and boy was that a great idea! Since 11/15, Deebo has played 9 games and he has scored at least once in 8 of them. This past weekend, Deebo’s usage in the backfield increased even more as he saw a career high 10 carries. With the weather the way it is, and his ever increasing usage as an RB I expect the 9ers to hand the ball to Deebo frequently, and of course he’s still a huge threat through the air every game. I don’t care if he catches one, or runs it in. We get paid either way. Considering his versatility and consistency in finding the pay dirt, this feels like a steal at plus odds.
