FlashPicks' NFL Week 9 DFS Guide - 11/6

NFL DFS WEEK 8 GUIDE (SUNDAY 1PM MAIN SLATE)

There are two keys when it comes to taking down big field tournaments. One is game stacking - this means playing multiple players from one game as you believe that game will have one of the highest totals on the slate. Stacking gives you the best chance to take advantage of that high total. The second is finding the low ownership plays that end up exploding. You will shoot up the contest leaderboard if you have a player at 1 percent ownership with 20- 30 points. I will be using these rules to provide you with my favourite game stack and two to three sneaky low ownership plays (we can’t predict exact ownership but I will be targeting players that are projected to be under 10% ownership.

Favorite Game Stack - Chargers/Falcons

Picking on the Falcons once again? YES. They are just so bad defensively; they allow the most points in the league against wide receivers and the 4th most against the quarterback position. This week it is hard to find any value on slate; the Chargers stack actually has some good value because of the injuries. Mike Williams and Allen are both out moving all of the targets to the likes of Gerald Everett and Joshua Palmer. Just look at last week Everett had nine targets and Palmer had twelve. Sign me up. They also are not expensive at all which will let you pay up at running back. The only way this gets tricky is Ekeler; he could easily steal the show. Because of this I will play two line ups this week. One with Ekeler and one without. It's fine to play him with Herbert because of the receiving upside.

1. Justin Herbert - $7,800

2. Joshua Palmer  - $6,200

3. Gerald Everett - $5,800

(2nd line up with Ekeler)

Bring back

1. Kyle Pitts - $6,300

Sneaky Plays with Short Explanations

Terry McLaurin - $7,200

Love McLaurin in this spot. Vikings pass D is piss poor. They allow the 7th most points to wide receivers. Mclaurin is due for a breakout game and this would be the perfect spot for him. Him and Heinicke haven't missed a beat as he had 113 yards last week. This week they will be behind and have to throw to keep the game close. I see McLaurin having 117 yards and 1 touchdowns here.

DK Metcalf  - $7,400

Right back this week with D.K. Metcalf. He had a dud last time these teams played no way it happens again. Marquise Goodwin is out so we don't have to worry about him stealing TD’s. I believe this game will be what we expected last time the teams met. High scoring back and forth action. Implied over/under of 48.5. DK is one of the most talented receivers on the field and he will be getting involved.

I wish you good luck ladies and gentleman. LET'S TAKE ONE DOWN.
