$FML - Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tennessee Titans SGP Pick

Fresh off posting his first in-depth NFL previews and picks, @FastMoneyLabs is BACK with a vengeance - this time, he’s targeting the Same-Game Parlay market at BetMGM.

In case you missed it, @FastMoneyLabs already has PLENTY of action on the weekend slate which you can read here! To round out his portfolio of picks, $FML designed these Same-Game Parlays in a way that follows his expected game scripts (outlined in previews) but could still profit even if he’s wrong.

Leg 1: Derrick Henry 2+ TDs

To produce THREE 3+ TD games in a single NFL season is exceptional. To produce THREE 3+ TD games in only 8 games?! That’s just nasty. Borderline not human. While I’d argue it’s unfair to expect ANOTHER 3+ TD performance today, I feel a bet that the generational talent can find the endzone twice against a banged-up defense is completely reasonable.

A safer approach would be to bet 1+ TD, but we’re already on that, and I’m feeling a little frisky today, so I went with 2+.

Leg 2: AJ Brown 60+ Alt Receiving Yards

If Henry dominates the line, it should open the field for explosive, efficient plays in the Titans’ pass game, especially in play-action. Cincinnati’s defense will be forced to stack the box, leaving the secondary vulnerable.

If I’m right, I see Brown as the most likely beneficiary. While a lingering hamstring injury affected his season-long output, he looked better down the stretch and arrives today fully-healthy off a week of much-needed rest. Even with the injury, he hit this 60+ yard mark five times in his last nine games, giving me confidence he can do it again today.

Leg 3: Ja'Marr Chase 95+ Alt Receiving Yards

If the Titans build an early lead and control game flow like I expect, the Bengals hands will be tied. They’ll have to pass – and potentially a lot.

Now close your eyes, pretend I’m right, and put yourself in Joe Burrow’s shoes trying to mount a comeback. Season on the line, if I’m Joe, I’m looking no further than my speedy, elusive playmaker, rookie standout: Ja’Marr Chase. His connection with QB Joe Burrow has been nothing short of electric, especially down the stretch as Ja’Marr enters today riding a streak of 3 consecutive 115+ yard games (excluding Week 18, where Chase rested 91% of snaps). With 115+ in 3 straight, 95+ isn’t too much of a far cry.

@FastMoneyLabs' Verdict

It’s risky, but not unreasonable, right? That said, while I really love these spots, I must caution: Bets paying 10-1 aren’t easy to hit! They’re long-shots for a reason. My analytical approach and goal for this column is to put us in the best position to win, but it’s still a high-risk / high-reward bet. Please tail responsibly!
