Who doesn’t love the bengals this year. Joe Burrow in his first full season bringing the Bengals to their first playoff win in decades and against all odds to the AFC Championship. The ultimate likeable team, as long as you’re not in the AFC North. But unfortunately, likability doesn’t do much at Arrowhead stadium. The Chiefs offense is finally clicking at the level they could’ve been all season and the Bengals do not have the defensive personnel to match.
Expect a ton of offensive from both sides, especially if Tyrann Mathieu stays unavailable. But in the end it’s hard to believe the Chiefs don’t win this by at least a touchdown. I expect Tyreek Hill to have another massive game and maybe some more action for Mecole Hardman. There are some interesting player props as well, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to on run across the board for anytime TD scorer on Hardman, Kelce, Mahomes, Mixon and Chase. There’s a good chance each one of them could score.
Another tip for the NFL playoffs, spreads are actually not usually all that important. Losing teams rarely cover in the biggest games of the season, so pick your winners and forget the spread. Underdogs, take money line and favorites give the spread. Of course now that I’ve said that it’s been jinxed but this is the game we play. As far as the pick, there’s a lot I love about the 49ers.
The pass rush with Nick Bosa can consistently get good pressure without blitzing, which is where Stafford has been torching defenses, off the blitz. The offensive line is tough enough to hang with the Rams stars. And Deebo Samuel might be the best offensive weapon in the NFL. Altogether the matchup looks great and everything lines up for the 49ers. Oh yeah and in this divisional rivalry the 49ers have won ALL OF THEIR LAST SIX MATCHUPS. It would be borderline irresponsible not to take the 49ers. The train could end here, but doesn’t it seem more likely that it doesn’t? Ride until you die.
