Penix Jr. has three interceptions on the year, two vs. Carolina and one vs. Washington. San Francisco has yet to record an interception this season. With their focus likely to be on slowing down the run, don’t count on this week being the one unless Penix Jr. gift wraps it for them.

Christian McCaffrey, UNDER 61.5 Rushing Yards at -114

Outside of the season opener, McCaffrey hasn’t cracked sixty yards rushing once, and with the success they are having in the passing game with him it does not appear to be a concern. With how hard it will likely be to run on the Falcons defense, it’s more likely they throw him a few more passes than try to establish the run.

Falcons ML at +110

I may be jumping on the Falcons band wagon, but the beat down the handed Buffalo last week was impressive. Mac Jones is playing really well but still makes the occasional mistake. Penix Jr. played a clean, efficient game last week and Bijan Robinson and the defense did the rest.

A similar week will give the Falcons another upset win.

Band wagons are dangerous, but there’s data beyond last week’s beatdown that backs up a Falcons upset in this game. The Falcons' defense is ranked No. 1 in total yards (253.4/per game) and passing yards (139.4/per game), and teams are scoring only 20 points a game.
