Penguin & Matty's +1127 NHL/NFL/NBA Parlay - 10/24

After crushing the last collab article play and crushing the books as of late, Capper Penguin and MattyChucks are here to give a 4 leg cross sport parlay to help us enjoy this Monday Night!

THE BOYS ARE BACK!

The Football Gods gave us a Bears vs Patriots primetime game which is brutal, but we should have a fun parlay across NFL, NBA, and NHL.

First up is NFL.

We know this game is going to be boring as most primetime games have been. The total is set at 40 points which means Vegas knows it will be boring too. This game will most likely have a heavy run style to it on both sides. Both teams have decent pass defenses, but struggle vs. the run game. The only reason this line is so low is because Damien Harris returns to the lineup and will (at most) take half of Dre's carries, but Dre covered in his last 3 with Damien Harris playing including at home vs a very tough Baltimore rush defense (73 yards on 12 carries). Dre has been absolutely eating on the ground with or without Damien covering in his L4/4 averaging 94 RYPG making me believe that he will still see the bulk of the carries. Even if he sees half the touches and the Patriots maintain their normal 131 RYPG, he'll end with about 65 rushing, but given the big uptick at home vs the league's second worst rushing defense, he should have no problem covering 60. Add in the fact that we have a very favorable game script with the Patriots favored by 8.5, He should get 60+ no problem.

Next up is NBA.

The 76ers are indeed 0-3, but does that mean we need to stay away from them as a whole? Absolutely not. Joel is going to be motivated. We like Embiid to score 30+ here!

• Hit LG with 40 points, 13 rebounds.
• Hit both games last season vs IND with 41/20 & 45/13 P/R.
• High o/u at 233 = more stats.
• IND allows 3rd most pts to Center.

This game feels like a Joel Embiid statement game and should start some momentum.

Lastly, we go to NHL.

The slate is tough, but props are alive and well. Jack Hughes has a favorable matchup. Since the first game of the season, Jack has had 7,4,7,4 shots per game and had a Capitals team that is middle of the pack with 31.8 shots allowed per game. We like Jack to have 4+ shots tonight. Jack is 3-0 to this number at home and I think he sticks to peppering the net.

Connor McDavid is next at 4+ shots tonight. He gets a Penguins team that allows the 5th most shots per game at 35. McDavid is coming off a 0-2 loss in a grudge match vs the Blues. He’s had 5,4,4,4,2 and the 2 was last game in that defensive battle. He has a great matchup to get back on the horse here!
