Tonight Toronto FC hosts Inter Miami in the battle of the bad, but somehow relevant. Miami is currently 7th in the East and holds the final playoff spot over Columbus. Toronto is out of the playoff race entirely and would love to play spoiler.

SUBSCRIBE TODAYToronto at home has been fairly good this season. They are 7-3-6 in their own building, but have been disappointing in their last three matches. Recording two draws and a loss. They look to rebound and dash the playoff hopes of Miami tonight, who is atrocious on the road. I like either Italian national to score tonight for Toronto. Bernardeschi has the advantage of taking PK’s for Totonto. He has recorded 8 goals, 3 assists, and 4 cards in 11 starts for Toronto. Massively impressive stats. Insigne has 6 goals, 2 assists, and 0 bookings in 10 matches played for Toronto. You really can’t go wrong backing either player tonight, and I may sprinkle on both.
Miami on the road is bad, bad, BAD. They are 3-3-10 away from their building this year. So heading to Toronto with the playoffs on the line isn’t exactly ideal, if you’re a Miami supporter. One thing that might slightly give you hope is that Miami won their last road game. It was against DC United, who is the worst team in the MLS. But a win is a win, right? The 2 guys to key in on for Miami are Leonardo Campana, the 22 year old on loan for Wolves. Campana was out of the starting rotation because of an injury, but scored a brace in his first start back for Miami. Gonzalo Higuain was the man filling in for Campana. Higuain had a massive run in that time and proved he can once again be an offensive contributor at 34 years old. Whoever starts is who I will be looking at for a goal.
Both these teams don’t play quality defense. I expect BTTS and o2.5 to be a bit of a layup for us. Checking the prices, unfortunately this is way too much juice for my taste at -155. Miami really needs this win, but I can’t trust that road record at all. I think they would be ecstatic with a draw and coming away from this match with a single point. I am going to stay away from picking a side tonight and focus on player props.
