The bottom half of the table is tight and the relegation battle is heating up, but the likes of Swansea need the three points this weekend to push them out of reach of the battle. Cardiff, however, aim to reel in the Play-offs.

All three goals in the game against Ipswich came in the first half. Nathan Broadhead opened the scoring for Ipswich but Jerry Yates equalised for Swansea just after the 30 minute mark. However, Conor Chaplin regained the lead for Ipswich just four minutes later to give Ipswich the 2 - 1 win.

Swansea bounced back next time out against Sunderland. Ronald grabbed a brace for Swansea in the first half to give The Swans the 2 - 0 lead at halftime. Luke O’Nien did get Sunderland on the scoresheet late on but Swansea held on for the 2 - 1 win.

The Swans picked up another 2 - 0 lead at the halftime whistle, this time against Blackburn Rovers with goals from Joe Allen and Jamie Paterson. Sammie Szmodics scored for Blackburn with 20 minutes to go, but Swansea kept them out for the 2 - 1 win.

An own goal from Ryan Andrews gave Swansea the lead over Watford. However, a goal from Ryan Porteous drew Watford level early in the second half. Despite having 20 shots, Watford couldn’t find another goal and the game finished in a 1 - 1 draw.

The most recent outing for Cardiff was against Ipswich Town. Kieffer Moore thought he had won the game for Ipswich with his goal in the 79th minute, however, a goal from Ryan Wintle in the 95th minute and a goal from Callum O’Dowda in the 100th minute gave Cardiff the shock 2 - 1 win.
