Arsenal will look to reclaim fourth place when they host Leicester City today at the Emirates. Arsenal’s home form this season has been very good, sitting behind only Liverpool and Manchester City. Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat trick against Tottenham lifted Manchester United ahead of Arsenal in the table, although the Gunners have four matches in hand. Leicester have had a disappointing campaign and sit mid-table. Their away form has been especially poor and without Jamie Vardy leading the line it could be a tough afternoon for Brendan Rodgers’ men.
Arsenal have had a week between their last match while Leicester played Rennes on Thursday. I think tired legs will creep in for the Foxes, especially in the second half. Mikel Arteta should name an unchanged squad from the one who beat Watford last weekend. Leading goal scorer Emile Smith Rowe is supposed to make his return from his asymptomatic bout with covid and I expect him to play a part in the latter stages of this one.
Backing Arsenal at -240 is the right move but doesn’t present the best value. When parlayed with over 2.5 goals you get a nice value at +110 and that’s why I’m making it my best bet for this match. As you know by now, I always like to give the people what they want and that’s a goal scorer prop. Alex Lacazette hasn’t scored in ages but something tells me today is the day. With his line rising all the way up to +140 on DK, I’m backing the Frenchman to find the back of the net at that price.
