Bayern welcome Villarreal to the Allianz Arena tonight facing a one goal deficit from the first leg. Credit must be given to Unai Emery and his men for a fantastic performance in the first leg. They scored early and honestly could’ve had more. Bayern uncharacteristically looked off the pace and are fortunate to be facing only a one goal hill to climb.
I do think the home crowd will encourage a more positive performance from the German side. Although still leaky at the back there is simply too much quality in midfield and attack to be kept out for another 90 minutes. The moneyline isn’t playable around -400 and even a Lewandowski wincast has no value for me at -220.
I decided on a 3-leg parlay for this one. Bayern to Advance + Lewandowski goal + Over 5.5 Home Corners (Bayern average 9 per match) which came to +124 on FanDuel.
