Manchester United welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford tonight. After suffering back to back losses to Liverpool and Arsenal, the Red Devils hopes of finishing in the top four are realistically over. With the announcement of Erik ten Hag as the next manager, most United fans are already looking forward to the summer.
Chelsea dominated West Ham but didn’t find the breakthrough until the 90th minute when Christian Pulisic swept home a Marcos Alonso cross. This was after Dawson was sent off for the denial of a goal scoring opportunity and Jorginho’s terrible penalty was saved by Fabianski.
When looking at this match it’s hard to look past the trouble United have at the back. They haven’t kept a clean sheet in two months and I don’t expect them to today. No matter what team Tuchel puts out I expect Chelsea to create multiple chances. This may be a fun game for the neutral because United won’t be allowed to sit back. I’m going to bet Chelsea to score 2 or more goals at +100.
