Sheffield United make the visit to the coast and to the Vitality Stadium to take on Bournemouth this Saturday in the Premier League. Both sides sit in the bottom half of the table and need a big three points this season.

  • Both teams to score No @ +108 With FanDuel
  • Under 2.5 goals @ +156 With FanDuel

These odds are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change.

The relegation zone is heating up and Sheffield United needs a big win to try and reel in Burnley and Luton. Bournemouth sit a bit above the relegation zone and will be aiming to look up rather than down towards the drop zone.

Bournemouth currently sit 13th in the Premier League after 26 games. The Cherries have eight wins, seven draws and 11 losses, leaving them on 31 points, only eight points above the relegation zone.

The Cherries have been underwhelming in front of goal, relying heavily on Dominic Solanke for the goals. In 25 games, Bournemouth have scored 33 goals, giving them an average of 1.32 goals a game. Bournemouth have been better defensively, conceding 47 goals and keeping five clean sheets.

Sheffield United, on the other hand, currently sit bottom of the Premier League. In 26 games, The Blades have three wins, four draws and 19 losses which leaves them on 13 points, equal with Burnley but 11 points from safety.

The Blades have the worst scoring record in the league, scoring just 22 goals, an average of 0.85 goals a game. It has been even worse at the other end of the pitch with Sheffield United conceding 66 goals and keeping just one clean sheet.

Bournemouth and Sheffield United have met just 20 times in their histories, with the first meeting coming back in 1981. The Blades have the better record in the fixture with 11 wins in comparison to Bournemouth’s three wins. In fact, a draw is more common than a Cherries win, happening on six occasions.

In the last five games in this fixture has seen two Bournemouth wins, a draw and one Sheffield United win. Though this fixture does usually see both sides on the scoresheet, this is unlikely to be replicated this weekend with Sheffield United’s scoring record this season.

The visit from Aston Villa saw John McGinn, Ollie Watkins, Leon Bailey and Youri Tielemans all score in the first half to give them the 4 - 0 lead at halftime. Alex Moreno scored early in the second half as well to secure the 5 - 0 win for Aston Villa.
