The second leg of the Europa Conference League Quarter Finals saw Villa in France. Yusuf Yazici and Benjamin Andre gave Lille the 2 - 0 lead entering the last 20 minutes but a late goal from Matty Cash sent the tie to extra time and then penalties. Misses from Andre and Nabil Bentaleb gave Villa the 4 - 3 shootout win.

Villa went behind again, with Dominic Solanke opening the scoring for Bournemouth with his penalty. However, goals from Morgan Rogers, Moussa Diaby and Bailey gave Villa the 3 - 1 win.

An own goal from Marc Cucurella gave Villa the lead in the fourth minute and Rogers doubled the lead before halftime. Noni Madueke and Conor Gallagher pulled Chelsea level with ten minutes to go. Axel Disasi had his last minute winner disallowed as the game finished 2 - 2.

Aston Villa also host Olympiacos in the first leg of the Europa Conference League Semi Final on Thursday.
