Manchester United look to keep their distance from Newcastle and close in on Tottenham with a win. Palace, however, are a safe distance from the relegation zone and have the liberty to go for the win looking up.

Jean-Philippe Mateta opened the scoring in the fourth minute for Palace against Manchester City but Kevin De Bruyne’s first goal made it level before halftime. Another goal from De Bruyne and goals from Rico Lewis and Erling Haaland gave City the 4 - 2 win, Odsonne Edouard scoring a late goal for The Eagles.

It was another 2 - 2 draw for Man United, this time against Bournemouth. Dominic Solanke opened the scoring for Bournemouth but Fernandes’ first goal drew United level. Justin Kluivert regained the lead for Bournemouth before halftime, but a penalty from Fernandes grabbed a 2 - 2 draw for United.

The FA Cup Semi Final saw United take on Coventry. Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire gave United the 2 - 0 lead at halftime and then Fernandes added a third before the hour mark. However, Ellis Simms and Callum O’Hare both scored to make it 3 - 2 with ten minutes to go and Haji Wright converted his 95th minute penalty to take it to extra time. After a Coventry winner was ruled out the game went to a penalty shootout, with Ben Sheaf and O’Hare missing to give United the 4 - 2 win.

Back in the Premier League, Man United took on Sheffield United. Jayden Bogle opened the scoring for Sheffield United but Maguire equalised for Man United before halftime. Ben Brereton Diaz regained the lead for Sheffield United early in the second half but a brace from Fernandes and a late goal from Rasmus Hojlund gave Man United the 4 - 2 win.

The most recent outing for United was against Burnley. Antony opened the scoring for United with just ten minutes to go but in the 87th minute Zeki Amdouni converted his penalty to give Burnley the 1 - 1 draw.
