NCAA Tournament Betting Sleepers

Last season the NCAA Championship was won by a four seed as the UConn Huskies took home the trophy. This upcoming tournament has a handful of sleepers who could be in line to win it as a betting underdog. Let’s look for some value and sleepers heading into the NCAA Tournament.

Duke currently has the 12th-best odds to win the NCAA Tournament. At the beginning of the season this team was ranked as No. 2 in the nation. For most of the season they hovered around the 10th ranked team in the country.

With some of the top talent in the tournament such as Kyle Filipowski and Jared McCain as well as senior Jeremy Roach, this team could make a run at the title. Duke should be a team to watch out for, especially if they get a 2 seed and an easy path to the Elite 8.

North Carolina was ranked as the No. 3 team in the country for a good portion of the college basketball regular season. Now they are sitting tied for the 6th-best odds to win the championship. There is some value to be had here for likely a 2 seed in the tournament.

This roster is made up of players with a ton of experience as they made it all the way to the 2022 NCAA Finals with current seniors RJ Davis and Amando Bacot who are their two top scorers. Last year this team failed to make the tournament and will have a chip on their shoulder heading into it this season.

To begin the year Kansas was the No. 1 team in the nation. Even all the way into January this team was No. 2 overall. Now, they have fallen off a bit and sit as the No. 13 team. Kansas has some massive wins under their belt this year such as beating current No. 1 Houston, Baylor, and No. 2 UConn. Don’t be surprised if this team makes a run as a 3, 4, or even a 5 seed.

At +4000 the Kansas Jayhawks have the 16th best odds to win the tournament. For a former No. 1 team at the start of the year and No. 2 team just two months ago, those are some favorable odds.

This is a deep, deep sleeper pick to win the entire tournament. They may not even make it into the tournament let alone win it but Colorado has too much talent to ignore. This team has three players projected to be drafted in the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft. Cody Williams is likely to be a top-5-draft pick.

With that much talent you have to figure that the winning will come. It has been clicking as of late as Colorado won six games in a row heading into the PAC-12 Tournament and should be getting Williams back soon. Historically, Colorado has done nothing in the tournament but they've never had this much talent.
