A matchup of two true juggernauts. In all seriousness though, Old Dominium and Rice are both looking at a conference re-alignment in the next 2 years, so building something they can take with them is essential. Despite the record, Old Dominium is not doing a bad job of that. They carry a balanced scoring attack that can compete with bigger teams. They have been also given a solid return to bettors, with a 3-1 record ATS away from home. This one should come down to the wire with Rice winning the game but ODU securing the cover.
North Texas has been having an unusually good stretch, with an 11-4 record and winning 9 of their last 10. With a legit chance at winning the Conference USA this year, they have a statement to make playing Charlotte tonight. Looking at Charlotte, their record appears better than they really are. They’ve only played 3 conference games this year and are 3-6 against the spread overall. If UNT can key in on Jahmir Young then Charlotte’s offense won’t be able to keep up. Predicting a winning margin of 16-20 points tonight
In my opinion this is the best matchup of the night. We have USC looking to rebound from a loss and Colorado coming off a 1-1 trip to Arizona. If Colorado can perform like they did against ASU, I’m leaning towards the home team. USC remains unproven this year with no top 25 wins yet to speak of. Granted Colorado hasn’t beat many great teams yet but they have been very good at home and looked good against the best common opponent, Stanford, who topped USC just last week.
