You guys should already know what I'm going to do here but It's IOWA TIME. Iowa has a great defense and horrible offense(LIKE REALLY BAD) which is actually the same as this Illinois team. Both teams are outside the top 75 for passing and scoring offense, top 10 in the country for scoring defense and passing defense. The only thing respectable offensively is Illinois run offense which ranks 30th overall but has to face the Hawkeyes 13th ranked rush defense.
Some additional stats that should help put your mind to easy:
- Illinois gives up 8.4 ppg (1st)
- Illinois allows 229.2 YPG (3rd)
- Iowa gives up 10ppg (3rd)
