@FlashPicks' Sunday Night Same Game Parlay - 7/24

The people over at FanDuel have must’ve heard you guys asking for more promos because they’ve definitely upped their promo game over the past month or two. Together we can mold Sportsbook reality…

Enough promo talk, let’s get into that parlay!

The first time we did an unofficial squad ride was two Sundays ago. We used the same promo for a Sunday Night Same Game Parlay. The game was the Yankees vs Red Sox… It was the last of what had been a great 4-game series between perhaps the most iconic rivalry in all of American sports. Long story short; it didn’t go well for our parlay.

So this time around we recruited two FlashPicks vets, John Bollman and FastMoneyLabs, to help us out. The Promo we got today was for tonight's Padres @ Mets game. We gave them a category for the type of bet we wanted and let them do the rest! Leg 3 came from our Twitter homies!

"Joe Musgrove is a stud and he has had 14 quality starts out of 16 appearances this season. Carlos Carrasco has been very hit or miss this season but he has been much better at home. I think this will be another close, low scoring game like the first two so I have to go with the team with the better bullpen in the Mets."

"The Padres are a scrappy bunch with a 22.2% strikeout rate vs. Righties this year. That’s good for the 13th lowest K% in MLB.

That figure rises to 27.8%, though, against Mets RHPs, which is 7th highest of any opponent this year. You’d think those stats are inflated from facing Max Scherzer, but they’re surprisingly not. Only 25 of those 169 PAs were against him.

Last night, Chris Bassitt whiffed 11 Padres — a season-high for him — and even Carlos Carrasco himself tossed a season-high 10 strikeouts vs. San Diego on June 6th.

Carrasco’s now covered this 6+ K line in 6 of his last 8 starts vs. teams not named the Astros.

For a safer play, you could consider backing 5+. However, for the squad ride I’m comfortable going bold & backing Carrasco to finish with 6+."
