I said before the World Series started that I think this series will end up being tied 2-2 and that I think the winner of Game 5 will end up winning the series in 6 games. Well, I am sticking with that prediction.
Framber Valdez pitched extremely well against the Phillies in Game 2, and he pitched well in both his other postseason starts. Zack Wheeler pitched well all postseason, but he was hit hard against the Astros in Game 2. The Phillies right-handed bats have gone cold, and that is a terrible sign for this game. Valdez should be able to keep Schwarber and Harper in check, so the Phillies will need their righties to produce to have a chance in this game. I don’t see that happening, especially with the Astros dominant all right-handed bullpen.
I think the Astros finally get that elusive second World Series at home.
