This game doesn’t look particularly fair on the surface. Seriously… the Dodgers roster is stacked and now that they are fully healthy, everyone is taking notice. The Yankees owned the early part of the season and it’s the Dodgers turn now. They’ve taken the crown of best team in the MLB by a decent margin, 7 games now, with no signs of slowing down. The fact that Tony Gonsolin has done what he’s done this season - it brings home the point, this isn’t fair.

I would feel confident in the Dodgers run line against almost any game Gonsolin starts and the Royals are certainly no exception. At 47-66 they have no chance at the playoffs and looking at the Dodgers, regardless of the locale, should be daunting. By record they’re not far off from the worst team in the MLB.

As high as this line is, I think it should be far more in favor of Los Angeles. Anything under -180 is a good value by my model, which makes this a very high value pick. Don’t be scared off.

You should want a Yankee in the home run parlay tonight. Starting the first game of the series in Boston will get the emotions high. They know the opponents, they know the park and they definitely know how to hit. As poor as the results have gone in these last few games, they are still able to score a lot of runs. Eovaldi throws hard and the Yanks are already conditioned to hit to the right field wall.

So where’s the value? Judge is the obvious pick but you’re getting no value there anymore. So I’m going to the slugger who’s been hot recently, Josh Donaldson. He’s had a nice stretch of power hitting recently and will have a great chance to go yard tonight.

Do we dare to tap into the Colorado well again? Let’s dive in. The air in Denver is just that much thinner and it’s been great for the parlay this year. No hitter has taken advantage better than CJ Cron. He’s hit 23 home runs this year and hit one in the last series against St Louis. Zach Davies is a formidable matchup but the Diamondbacks bullpen is not. Whether he gets one early or late, Cron is a great bet tonight.
