This bet checks all the boxes. The Orioles are, against all odds, solidly in the playoff picture. 1.5 games out of the AL Wild Card race and with plenty of opportunities to make ground against the two current wild cards, the Rays and Blue Jays. AL East is very strong. Baltimore has also been very hot lately, winning series against the Rays, Rangers and Cubs recently. The bats have been very hot and they’ll have a feast with Bryse Wilson. Wilson has had a tough time this year with Pittsburgh but definitely showspromise. The Orioles absolutely have the firepower to take advantage of a streaky pitcher though.
Spenser Watkins has been a far more consistent option, especially lately. Over his last 6 starts, he’s only given up 7 runs and pitched 34 innings. He does very well with hitters on base and has proved his worth in Baltimore. Overall, the Orioles should have a big advantage over the Pirates this afternoon, much more than the moneyline currently sugges
