With the first series out of the way, we’re starting to get a picture of the early part of the season. One pitcher I’m generally high on is Michael Lorenzen. After missing most of last season with shoulder and hamstring issues, he’ll be starting his first season as a starter. That might be concerning to some, but I see value. When healthy, Lorenzen has been excellent and his repertoire could translate well to starting. Combine this with how bad the Marlins offense has been so far, and I love the team total under.

After a more difficult series than they had prepared for, the Brewers will have a great chance to bounce back against the Orioles. Houser isn’t their best option but the Orioles offensive is anemic and the bullpen has really struggled. Call it a get right game, a good chance for what should be a very good team this year.
