@KeepTheJuice21 MLB Picks - 6/14

Cleveland Guardians (29-27) @ Colorado Rockies (27-34)

This pick might make you nervous and I understand. The Guardians have been on a tear, winning 10 of their last 13 and averaging 5.2 runs per game over that stretch. Jose Ramirez has been as hot as any hitter in the MLB and now they get to play at one of the best hitter parks in the MLB. But this line is just juiced up to much and I’m seeing value. The Guardians can score, but they rarely top 6 runs. Even in this great run, they’ve only scored 7 or more 3 times. Antonio Senzatela is serviceable and the longer he can get in the game and avoid the bullpen, the better this will look. So hope to see a long start out of the tricky right hander.

Los Angeles Angels (29-33) @ Los Angeles Dodgers (37-23)

This might seem like a counterintuitive pick as well, but when everybody else zigs, we zag. The Dodgers look very sharp this year, as they should with this talented of a roster. But they’ve struggled recently, especially on the offensive side. The Angels aren’t out of the hot water yet, but they did snap the awful 14 game losing streak and are only 4 games below a .500 record. Tony Gonsolin is reason for the Dodgers odds tonight, the defacto Ace is having his best season yet and the bar was already high. But I’m seeing value on the other side of the mound as Syndergaard has been a little too easily discounted. We know what he can do at his best and his stats are hurt by a few blow-up performances. Expect at least a close game tonight.
