Atomic's NBA Sunday Best Bet #1: Nuggets @ Nets - 3/19

Love this spot for Jokic tonight as he will be facing the Brooklyn Nets who are allowing the #1 most RPG to opponents over the last 30 days. Centers have absolutely been crushing their lines against this Nets team just to name a few Sabonis 21, JayWill 7 (17 MIN), Jokic 20, Rudy 13, Bobby 13, Sengun 12, Williams 14 so the L6/6 Centers to actually get minutes have recorded 12+ each including Jokic with 20, this might be the best target for rebounds for centers in the entire NBA at the moment. Jokic has hit this number in his last 11 out of 20 games and 12 or more in 14 out of them the Nets are also allowing the #4 most rebounds per game to centers - compared to their average over the last 30D (+2.38) Jokic averages 11.8 rebounds per game. So as we can see Jokic just has a high hit-rate to this line recently and has been rebounding a lot better than earlier on he also had 20 against this team about a week ago and they are the perfect matchup for rebounds in general & specifically to centers so just everything we could ask for here.

The Nets are also allowing the #4 most offensive rebounds per game in the NBA with only Claxton to box out they have been allowing a ton of tip ins which someone like Jokic loves to attack the glass and use his weight and size to get favorable positioning in order to tip the ball in with just Claxton down low and one of the worst offenses in the NBA this Brooklyn team just struggles to box out big men and to be enough of a threat offensively to the point where bigs have to really leave the paint which just hasn’t been an issue yet really.
