Atomic's NBA Tuesday Best Bet #2: Hawks @ Celtics - 4/18

I think this is a perfect game & matchup for Tatum to bounce back. Obviously he played them last game but with Boston up 30 at half it's easy to see how he took his foot off the gas. However, Hunter is a good defender but he is not a great one & Tatum has some insane home/road splits. He has cleared this line in 22/30 home games where he records 31 or more minutes. He saw 40 last game so it's safe to assume he gets 35 in this one.

Atlanta will likely adjust offensively after only having 44 points last half. That just will not get it done I expect them to keep it closer in this one & force Tatum to actually take over. I still think Boston pulls this game out so we get a nice juice reducer with the moneyline & with Tatum playing better at home it only correlates with the moneyline as obviously if he plays better Boston is more likely to win.

At the rim, while Capela is no slouch on defense, Tatum can attack him easily & should have no problem doing so. We saw Brown have the hot hand last game so he took over and took as many shots as Tatum I expect Brown to cool down a bit and be defended a bit better by Murray in this one and Tatum to take over honestly you'd be profitable by just taking Tatum's overs at home and especially after a bad home game in terms of scoring I expect some more aggression in this one from him & if that happens he will have no problem going over.  Tatum had 33 & 38 in his previous 2 home games against the Hawks all we need is 30 from him in a playoff game I think he steps up in this one ESPECIALLY if Brown is not on fire to start.
