Atomic's NBA Tuesday Best Bet: Magic @ Spurs - 3/14

Atomic is looking to add Wendell Carter jr of the Orlando Magic to the Win List!

Wendell has managed to record 10 or more rebounds in his last 5/6 games & 9+ in all 6/6 he has also had 17.2 rebound chances while averaging 11 rebounds per game in this span. The Spurs are allowing the #3 most rebounds per game to centers over the L30D (+3.26) & the #6 most over the L7 games also the #10 most overall rebounds in general. This is an amazing matchup for him for those reasons & he has been finally seeing his usual rebound chances as well as his normal rebound numbers as well so I do not feel bad taking it at this number despite the low total hit - rate. Some recent bigmen against the Spurs - Jokic 11, Sengun 14, Sengun 10, Turner 2, Olynk 10/Lauri 10/Kessler 15, Kessler 12 so they have allowed 10+ Rebounds to the L7/8 big men this team especially without Poetl has just been getting destroyed by bigmen inside, Collins isn't a starting - caliber bigmen.

Wendell has had 9+ Rebounds in 22/33 games & played alot with Bamba & when Bol Bol was starting beside him where he was not getting a ton of rebound chances with the magic shortening the lineup & only playing Wagner behind him he has been getting his normal minutes as well as rebound chances which is why I think this is a solid spot for him here. The Spurs are allowing the #6 most rebounds per game over the L30D around the trade deadline so not many teams have been worse at allowing rebounds than this one also mixed with their fast pace just makes this an amazing matchup that centers should have circled on their calendar if they want an easy double double
