Atomic's NBA Wednesday Best Bet: Pacers @ Raptors - 3/22

Atomic is looking at the 2nd best NBA player from Cameroon for Wednesday's slate - let's make it two in a row!

Pascal will face off against an Indiana Pacer team who has not been playing defense this entire season & been prime matchups for all scorers specifically power forwards as Nesmith at 6'5 is playing the power forward for them that is just not going to suffice especially with Siakam coming down the lane & just backing him down we saw Siakam go for 33 pts+ast in the previous matchup against the Pacers. Scottie Barnes is doubtful in this one & regardless Siakam has hit this line in 52% of games & Barnes played the game he had 33 pts+ast but Barnes missing would be big as it could provide a bonus in not only USG but spacing for Siakam to operate.

The Pacers are giving up the #3 points per game , #3 most assists per game & the #9 most points in the paint which is where Pascal does a bulk of his scoring he is #2 on Toronto in Drives Per Game at 13.9 a game this is perfect against a poor paint defense. Indiana is allowing the #7 most points per game to #1 options & the #8 most points per game to pf's the L30D (+1.15) - compared to their average so as mentioned they have just struggled to defend power forwards & specifically #1 options so we have the best of both worlds right now as Pascal is not only a #1 option but also a power forward & if Barnes misses (doubtful) Gary Trent Jr should provide a whole new level of spacing for Siakam they are also worse specifically to forwards who like to attack the basket & not settle which is why this is such a perfect game for Siakam as long as he stays aggressive & is looking at the basket throughout the entire game it all comes down to how he comes out in this one.
