The Hornets are in a slide, losing 7 of the last 8 but this is a perfect spot to get on track. The last time these two played, the Hornets were the dominant team, putting up 133 points with some great performances from the supporting cast including Kelly Oubre, Jalen McDaniels and Gordon Hayward.
LaMelo Ball only scored 10 points but the team managed a great game. It seems like the strategy from the Twolves was to limit the stars, and Ball, Rozier and Bridges each got up 10 or less shots. When a strategy goes according to plan but still fails, thatβs a really bad sign and I think Minnesota will struggle similarly tonight. Unless Minnesota can make some major shifts, I think theyβll struggle again tonight.
