Against all odds, the Hornets have built a solid team that could contend for a title in the coming years. And it seems like Vegas is a little slow to catch up, the Hornets have also been one of the best NBA teams to bet on this year, covering the spread in 59% of their games. Boston has been good at the Garden, with a 16-10 record overall but they’ve struggled to find consistency. The two teams have met this season once when Charlotte won in Boston just a couple of weeks ago.

I think the same result is in the cards tonight.

The Nets might be the first team in history to actually prefer away games. This is of course because they are allowed to play Kyrie Irving only outside of New York, per vaccination rules. The team is doing their best to adjust to the loss of Kevin Durant in the midst of a potential MVP season, but the two star guards provide a matchup problem for anyone. The Kings have a solid guard combo of their own in Halliburton and Fox but it doesn’t seem like that’s the formula to beat the Nets this year. It’s the bigger teams that have given the Nets the most trouble and that’s just not the strength of the Kings.

This should be a blowout for the contending Nets against a Kings team that has yet to figure it out.
