The last time the Clippers and 76ers met, we saw one of the bigger upsets of the NBA regular season. LA has a chance to get revenge just 4 days after that infamous 121-107 defeat last Sunday. Since then they dropped another home game vs Indiana, now they embark on a tough 4-game road trip which will show us exactly how far this team can go. Russell Westbrook returned to the line-up after missing more than a month with a broken hand, he adds another play making dimension off the bench and gives a much needed breather for James Harden at the point guard position. The Clippersβ biggest issue over the past 10 games has been their defense though, they rank just 29th in defensive efficiency allowing 121.5 points per 100 possessions.
As bad as the 76ers have been without Embiid, unlike the Clippers theyβve put in a solid effort on that end of the floor ranking 7th with an allowed 109.5 points per 100 possessions in the past 10 games. Sadly for them that has not translated in as many wins as theyβve hoped, Philly is only 4-8 SU over their last 12 games. Offensive execution has been an issue for a while now, but on occasions this team is capable of putting up points in bunches. This will be their first home game following a 4-game road trip which ended in a 1-3 SU record. Team will often struggle in their first home game back following a long hiatus. The 76ers are just 1-5 SU in their last 6 games vs Western Conference opponents, however they do have a pretty solid 6-1 SU record in the last 7 home games vs the Clippers.
